Welcome to Cairo! Your tour begins when you are greeted by our representative. After you have collected your luggage, he will take you in your deluxe Private vehicle to your Cairo hotel.

Overnight: Hotel in Cairo

In the morning, after having your breakfast you will join your private professional Egyptologist tour guide to explore The Three Pyramids of Giza and The Great Sphinx: the most famous monuments of not only ancient Egypt but of the entire ancient world!

In the afternoon you will be taken to The Egyptian Museum, which display a rare collection of 5000 years of art. Over 250,000 Genuine ancient Egyptian artifacts are presented. You will have the option to gaze at the wonders of King Tutankhamen, including his golden death mask; stare upon the mummies of some of Egypt's ancient pharaohs (optional).

Overnight: Hotel in Cairo

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and our representative will escort you to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be met and assisted by our representative who will transfer you to your cruise boat: your floating hotel for your next 3 nights. 

After lunch, which you will have onboard, you will visit the magnificent Karnak Temple, which was, at its peak, the largest and most important religious complex in ancient Egypt. The most significant structure, and the largest religious building ever built, is the Temple of Amun-Ra, considered to be where that god lived on earth with his wife, Mut, and son, Khonsu, who also have temples at the site.

Then you will head to Luxor Temples, which was not built-in adoration to a god or to a god figure of the kings and pharaohs, but was built in dedication to the rejuvenation of kingship. Many kings might have had they crowning at the Temple of Luxor, whether crowned in reality or conceptually as in the case of Alexander the Great, who claimed he was crowned at Luxor although facts contradict appear that he had never traveled south of Memphis which is considered the modern city of Cairo.

After your first breakfast on board, it is time to visit the West Bank of Luxor:

  • The tombs of the New Kingdom Pharaohs are in the Valley of the Kings, which is an astounding location where 62 Pharaohs are buried. This was a secret place, where sentries guarded the entrance, as well as the tops of the hills to discourage tomb robbers.
  • The magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahri, which is one of the most distinctive temples in all of Egypt. It was built of limestone, not sandstone like most of the other funerary temples of the New Kingdom period.

After this visit to the Theban "City of the Dead", you will be taken back to your boat for your lunch, and then you can watch as it departs Luxor and sails for Esna. As the Nile flows gently underneath you, dinner will be served.

Overnight: Deluxe Nile Cruise

You can enjoy your breakfast watching as the cruise boat crosses the Esna lock then sails onward to Edfu, home of the best-preserved temple in Egypt: The Temple of Edfu or Temple of Horus, one of the most beautiful and preserved Temples in Egypt. Its origins likely date back to the Second Intermediate Period, but the actual Temple only dates back to Ptolemaic times. The construction work began during the reign of Ptolemy III (about 237 BC) and was finished during the reign of Ptolemy IV. Some other additions were made by other Ptolemaic Kings and the Roman Emperor Augustus. The temple's construction, in addition to its additions, inscriptions, and reliefs took about 180 years!

After the visit, you will be taken back to the boat for your lunch while it sails onward to Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to the gods Horus and Sobek. Afterward, you will be back to the Cruise for Having your dinner while it sails to Aswan.

Overnight: Deluxe Nile Cruise

Your last day of sailing starts with breakfast, and then a visit to Aswan. You will be driven to see The High Dam, the world's largest rock-filled dam, The Temple of Philae which was moved to the new island of Agilika after the waters of Lake Nasser flooded its original location on Philae.

After the day tour ends, you will be transferred to Aswan airport for your flight back to Cairo (flight duration is about 1 hour only). Once there, our representative will meet you before transferring you to your hotel in Cairo for check-in.

Overnight: Cairo Hotel

Your final day starts with breakfast at the hotel followed by check-out. You will then be transferred to the airport for your final departure.
